Jaclyn has been providing individuals and teams with softball instruction for 11 years.  Her specialties include both hitting and pitching, though she is well-versed in all aspects of the game.  She served as the assistant coach/pitching coach for the Hendrix College Warriors for three years.  Herrera was a four-year letter winner as a first baseman and pitcher for the Warriors.  She was an All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference First Team selection in 2009 and an honorable mention each of the other three seasons.  Herrera was also named to the 2010 SCAC All-Sportsmanship Team and was a two-time Commissioner's Honor Roll selection.  She also earned 2011 NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete recognition.  A career .352 hitter, Herrera racked up 167 hits, 92 runs, 43 doubles, 16 home runs, and 121 runs batted in.  She ranks in the all-time top five in average, slugging percentage, double, total bases, games played, runs, hits, home runs, RBI, walks and sacrifice flies at Hendrix College.  She graduated with a degree in Kinesiology in 2011

Her hobbies and interests include outdoor activities (recreational softball, hiking, gardening), movies, and MLB baseball (Texas Rangers).  Her family resides in Northeast Texas and she loves visiting them as frequently as she can.
